Renowned State award winning editor B Ajithkumar’s Eeda (Ivide) has hit theaters today. Ajithkumar who had served as Rajeev Ravi’s editor for a while marks his directorial entry through Eeda. The movie starring veteran mimic artist late Abi’s son Shane Nigam and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum heroine Nimisha Sajayan has a beautiful Romeo-Juliet style narrative but a native storytelling.

Shane plays Anand who works in an insurance company at Mysore while Nimisha portrays the beautiful Aishwarya. The backdrop is the happenings occurring in Kannur. Anand meets Aishwarya at an instant and their friendship soon transforms into love. Avoiding the factor that their families possess two different political idealism they continue their relationship.
But then later due to Anand’s intense affection towards Aishwarya he is dragged into unfortunate events that moves from bad to worse. The later part shows the audience whether Anand could strive through the odd ones coming against him or will he be put down by those.

Ajithkumar who is also the writer has put up a very soothing script. He details the present scenario and the happenings that had occurred in the past at Kannur. Simultaneously, he also gives a very romantic and melodramatic feel to the whole movie. Shane who had put up good acts in Kismath, Saira Banu and Parava has once again caught up audience attention with his performance in the movie. Nimisha who had produced a mesmerizing performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum has got up to the same level with this movie.

Overall, Eeda has gone past many above than the expectations. Technically impressive and topnotch performances. Surely, catch it in theaters near you.
