After playing the role of a die hard Vijay fan in Pokiri Simon, Mollywood’s own Kurudi, actor Sunny Wayne is now all set to play a chef in debutant director Maju’s, French Vipalavam. The movie will be produced by duos Shajeer Jaleel and Jafar Khan.
Sunny Wayne will flaunt a village boy look in the movie and his character is named Sathyan. In the story, Sathyan is a chef in a village resort and Ee Ma Yau fame, Arya will play the female protagonist along with Sunny Wayne.
According to the director Maju, the movie is a comic entertainer and revolves around Sathyan (Sunny Wayne) and his gang of friends.
Sathyan is a man with excellent culinary skills but is very lazy. He is always seen lazying around with his friends but certain incidents turn their lives upside down. The director Maju also said that liquor will play an important part of the narrative.
The movie set in the 1990s revolve around a incident in Kerala history, according to the director. French Vipalavam will also feature Chemban Vinod Jose and Lal. The makers have also roped in Prasanth Pillai. Set in Aluva and Manjali, the film’s music is also significant to the movie’s narrative. The director also added that there will only be one song in the movie. The film is still under production stage and no initial date is fixed for the release of the movie.
